Buckle up, Cowboy!

First things first....

We gather to dance, celebrate, and kick up our boots on the unceded and traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We honour the original stewards of this land, whose relationship to it continues to this day.

As we celebrate queer joy, cowboy culture, and community, we remember that this land holds histories of resilience, survival, and strength. May our gathering be an act of respect, inclusion, and gratitude.

Dust off your boots and grab your hat, because Buckle Bunny is riding into town for Episode 3 of Guncle D’s Tea Dance! Join us on Saturday, September 20th from 2–7 PM for an afternoon that’s equal parts rowdy hoedown and sultry saloon—location to be confirmed.

Your wranglers for the day are none other than drag darlings Gia Metric and Carlotta, cracking whips and keeping the crowd bucking all afternoon. Kicking things off, DJ Ginger Bear will be spinning a country-inspired set, warming up the dance floor with line dancing, two-stepping, and plenty of boot-scootin’ beats. Then, from 4 to 7 PM, the energy hits full gallop with headliner Johnny Jover—one half of the acclaimed DJ duo Glass Petals—bringing his signature big-room sound to keep you riding high until the last track drops.

But this rodeo is more than just dancing. Expect bare-chested beer servers, boot-cut go-go boys, and cheeky surprises that’ll have you hollerin’ “yee-haw!” from start to finish. Thanks to our generous sponsors, there are plenty of hot prizes up for grabs, including personal training sessions with West Coast Strength & Movement and a $200 Banda Volpi gift certificate.

And for the boldest of the bold? We’re dropping a $1000 cash prize for the best Buckle Bunny Boy. Saddle up in your hottest cowboy gear and show us what you’ve got.
