What’s On! Queer BC / Since 2014.
What’s On! Queer BC is a Vancouver-based online magazine and resources catalogue featuring queer stories, news, events and resources links important to people living in the BC Lower Mainland. These include resources and news of interest by and for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Non-binary, Two-spirit, Intersex and Questioning communities in Metro Vancouver, The Sea to Sky and Fraser Valley as well as BC Islands and BC Interior.
Event and resources listings are free for local events, businesses and services.

Jude Goodwin
EDITOR/PUBLISHER
Jude is the owner of Goodwin Studios, a web and graphic design studio established in 1995. Through Goodwin Studios, she publishes What’s On Queer BC. Jude is also a published author and poet, and sings with an cappella chorus. Now semi-retired, she spends a lot of time traveling in a small camper van with her little dog Julip.

Karin Shard
CO-EDITOR / MARKETING LIAISON
Karin’s company, Bad Egg Productions, was the editor/publisher of Squamish’s famous Tongue in Cheek coffee paper. Karin was the co-organizer of SERF, the Squamish Equinox Rock Festival. As well, she was the owner operator of Squamish’s favourite food truck, Carte Diem (Seize the Souvlaki). These days she spends a lot of time driving the Sea to Sky with her little dog Max.

What’s On Queer BC has a full Queer Resources section which we are constantly updating.

Yes, we publish event information and posters if you send them over to us - if the event is in BC, there’s no charge.

At this time we do not have capacity for interviews. However, if you’d like to write an article we will publish it as long as the person is from BC or the event in question will be happening in BC.

We do publish articles and guest posts. This service is free if they are relevant to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in BC. Send your article over and we’ll take a look. Or pitch it to us at whatsonqueerbc@gmail.com

Sometimes. Most of the time, we offer free publication in exchange for links to your business or blog. However, there are occasions when we do compensate local queer writers. Find out more on our page here.
