EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT
✓ The Inclusive Employers Hiring Hub (The HUB) helps employers hire persons with disabilities. Free training for Employers to learn how to integrate Persons with Disabilities into the workplace. https://inclusiveemployers.ca/
✓ YWCA Believe is a free employment program that supports LGBTQIA+ newcomers to Canada by offering one-on-one career coaching, workshops, and networking opportunities. Open to permanent residents and refugees, the program also provides language support and has served 75 clients from over 20 countries since 2023. For those interested in the program, visit YWCA Believe | YWCA Metro Vancouver to register for an info session or click register now to fill out an application form. As June is Pride Month, there’s never been a better time to build confidence and the skills needed to succeed in the Canadian job market.
