Homecumming
Magalie Brings Homecumming to Vancouver
After a standout debut at the 2024–2025 Montreal Fringe Festival, Magalie’s poignant and comedic solo show Homecumming is finally making its way to Vancouver. This deeply personal story explores sexuality, mental health, and self-discovery, resonating with audiences through its raw honesty and sensitive humour.
A Journey of Healing and Self-Love
Homecumming tells the story of a woman who, after losing her orgasms, embarks on a transformative journey toward self-love and healing. While sexuality appears central to the narrative, it is used as a lens to delve into broader themes: emotional trauma, depression, resilience, and rebirth.
Magalie’s performance offers a sincere, spiritual, and non-vulgar exploration of female sexuality and mental health — inspired by real events and carried by a rare onstage vulnerability. The show won the Best Narrative Award and received three Frankie Award nominations at the Montreal Fringe Festival:
• Most Promising Comedy
• Most Promising Production
• Most Promising Text
