Queer Photowalk in Vancouver's Gastown
Join us for a casual afternoon of photography, community, and Queer joy in one of Vancouver’s most historic neighbourhoods.
Whether you’re a pro with a DSLR, a film enthusiast with an old 35mm, or just someone who loves taking aesthetic shots on your phone, this walk is for you! The Vancouver Queer Photowalk is a space for Queer folks to explore the city through a lens and meet fellow creatives.
The Plan
2:00 PM – Meet-up: We’ll gather at the Steam Clock for quick intros before we start wandering. Name tags will be provided!
2:15 PM – The Walk: We will wander through the heart of Gastown, doing street photography and chit chatting.
4:30 PM – Social: We’ll head to a nearby spot (TBD) to grab a drink/snack, chat about our favorite shots, and get to know each other better.
Who is this for?
This is a Queer-centered space. While we welcome allies who are supportive of the community, please be mindful of centering Queer voices and experiences during the walk. All skill levels and camera types are welcome!
