Pride Parade
Join us Sunday, June 7 from 11am-4pm for a community celebration and reflection of 2SLGBTQIA+ pride in the heart of Downtown Squamish. The Squamish Pride Parade features a vibrant and diverse display of floats, performances and all community members showing up and standing for awareness, representation, social justice and the right to be who they are.
*Note a Pride flag raising to kick off the month is scheduled for Monday, June 1, with a lauch party to follow on Friday, June 5. Happy to provide details on both.

The Squamish Pride Parade is an annual community celebration and reflection of 2SLGBTQIA+ pride in Squamish, providing an outlet and safe space for all people to celebrate and embrace and express themselves freely without fear of judgement or discrimination. The event features a vibrant and diverse display of floats, performances and all community members showing up and standing for awareness, representation, social justice and the right to be who they are.
The 2025 inaugural event attracted approximately 3,000 people of all ages and backgrounds, marking a significant milestone for diversity and inclusion in Squamish. Everything about the Squamish Pride Parade centers around community and belonging for everyone of all ages, and now more than ever, community building is essential to promote and support 2SLGBTQIA+ equality and the rights of the 2SLGBTQIA+ worldwide.
Established in 2019, Pride Squamish is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on raising awareness and promoting community belonging for local 2SLGBTQIA+ members and their allies. We believe in the power of visibility to enhance the well-being of every individual in our vibrant mountain community.
We cultivate connection through a variety of inclusive initiatives including advocacy and outreach, monthly meet-ups to provide social and peer support within a safe environment.
Pride Squamish is committed to linking arms with love and strength, creating visibility and safe spaces for every person to show up as their true and authentic selves. We all deserve love and acceptance.
