Sunshine Coast Pride Festival

We bring people together with fun, welcoming events where everyone can feel safe, seen, and celebrated! Powered 100% by passionate volunteers and community members, we are thrilled to share the official details for this year's celebration.

🎨 2026 Festival Theme: "HOME GROWN"

This year’s design and theme are rooted in the image of a raw crystal pulled from the earth; unpolished, powerful, and entirely its own. Grounded in place and formed slowly over time through pressure and patience, it perfectly reflects the queer community on the Sunshine Coast.

Instead of relying on large corporations, we are investing in the "Keep it Coastal" model. When local businesses support Pride, our community uplifts them in return, creating a sustainable cycle of mutual care.

About the Poster Artist: The 2026 "Be a Gem" look was designed by Tobias (Art Fungi), a queer digital illustrator from the Sunshine Coast known for his distinctive style of crunchy textures, rough lines, and expressive colors.
