An all-day underground electronic music festival featuring Leon Vynehall, Fred P, Prosumer, DJ Holographic, and more
NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. — This Saturday, October 3, 2026, Public Disco Festival takes over The Shipyards in North Vancouver. The 19+ event runs from 2 to 10pm, transforming the industrial waterfront into an underground electronic music festival across two stages. Headlining are internationally celebrated DJs Leon Vynehall (UK), Fred P (NYC), Prosumer (UK), and DJ Holographic (DET). For Public Disco, now in its 10th year, it's the largest production in the organization's history.
"Ten years of Public Disco has taught us that the right space can completely change how people experience music together. The Shipyards is that kind of space: iconic, industrial, right on the water,” says Nickolas Collinet, Executive Director of Public Disco Society, “This Saturday we're bringing Leon Vynehall, Fred P, Prosumer, and DJ Holographic to that stage. We've been building toward a moment like this, and we can't wait for you to experience it."
Main Stage — Shipyard Commons
The open air structure with full shelter overhead faces downtown Vancouver across the inlet, with views of both the sky and the water.

Vinyl Lounge — Pipe Shop Venue
Inside the restored century-old Pipe Shop Venue steps from the Main Stage, the Vinyl Lounge powered by Lobe Studio's spatial sound system offers a different kind of listening experience. Expect slower tempos and exploratory sounds spanning jazz, soul, dub, ambient, and everything in between. Guests are invited to grab a cocktail, take a seat, listen, and relax while taking in live visuals.

The Venue
Public Disco Festival is spread across five distinct spaces within The Shipyards:
Main Stage in the Commons
A steel-framed, open-air structure with full shelter overhead and open at the sides, facing downtown Vancouver across the inlet. The Main Stage sits to the north, with a pop-up café by Artigiano on the south side.
Wallace Mews
Attendees enter the site on Wallace Mews, under the iconic yellow heritage crane. The Mews runs along the corridor between the Vinyl Lounge and Main Stage, with pop-up murals featured along the way. Harm reduction and water stations will be available on site.
The Mezzanine Wine Bar
A covered outdoor wine bar overlooking the Main Stage on one side and the North Vancouver waterfront on the other.
Vinyl Lounge in the Pipe Shop Venue
A restored century-old shipbuilding hall with timber beams and big windows, housing the festival's all-vinyl listening experience. The Vinyl Lounge features Lobe Studio's customized 25-speaker surround sound installation, live visuals, and lounge seating. Capacity is limited.
Food Market in Shipbuilders' Square
The outdoor plaza between stages, with covered seating and a variety of food vendors — a place to step out of the sound, regroup, eat, and connect without leaving the site.
The venue is fully licensed with bars throughout
