Vancouver Is Funny is a month-long comedy festival running throughout September 2026. It features a mix of local stand-up, touring headliners, indie shows, live podcasts, and alternative comedy formats spread across multiple venues in the city.

• THAT'S GAY! COMEDY (Little Mountain Gallery): Hosted by Erin Purghart, this is a dedicated queer comedy showcase featuring local LGBTQ+ comedians across dedicated theme nights (including Boys! Boys! Boys!, Gender? I Hardly Know Her! trans/nonbinary night, and Dyke Night).

• Tin Lorica (Biltmore Cabaret, Sept 6): Local non-binary, Filipino-born comedian and writer featured on CBC Gem’s The New Wave of Stand-Up and OUTtv's Killjoy Comedy.

• Sydnee Washington (Biltmore Cabaret, Sept 18): Emmy-nominated, NYC-based lesbian stand-up comedian, actress, and podcaster (Bridesman, Comedy Central).

• Irene Tu (Biltmore Cabaret, Sept 25 & 26): LA-based queer stand-up comedian and writer (Netflix is a Joke, After Midnight, Comedy Central).
