Do you like to sing?

No matter the weather, no matter the issues, a night of singing will bring everything back to joy.
Singing is great for your body and your mind working your lungs, reducing stress hormones, and triggering mood-boosting chemicals in the brain. But best of all, when we sing with others we remember our humanity. We’ve been singing together with family and community since the dawn of time.
Fall is typically the time when local choirs and choruses invite community to join us on the risers. Here are a few queer-specific opportunities for you!
East Side Choir
ESCHOIR (East Side Choir) is a duo of East Van pop / indie rock choirs for queer folks and allies. We practice out of One Thousand Rivers in East-ish Van. Accepting new members for the fall season, starting August 30th!
Vancouver Men’s Chorus
Do you sing Tenor, Baritone, or Bass? To kick off our 46th season, come sing for an evening, meet and socialize with our members... then, if you like, sign up for an audition!
Our general OPEN REHEARSAL is on Wednesday, Sept 16 from 7-9:30pm at The Vancouver Opera (1945 McLean Drive). Plan to arrive at 6:45 to check in. (Auditions will be held Sept 20.) Previous choral and/or music experience is not necessary.
Please RSVP at membership@vancouvermenschorus.ca.
Rainbow Chorus New Westminster
The Rainbow Chorus of New Westminster is for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and their allies. Our motto is Blending Voices, Changing Hearts. https://rainbowchorusnewwestminster.com/
